The BlenioBike association was founded to promote the Mountain Bike as a sport, both as a tourist goal for our region and as an activity for our young people (and the less young as well!).

Through this Internet portal, we intend to make the Blenio Valley known beyond cantonal and national borders as an ideal destination, not only for hiking and winter sports lovers, but also for Mountain Bike (MTB) enthusiasts. Together with the regions of Surselva, Leventina and Andermatt, with which the Blenio Valley is part of the “Programma San Gottardo 2020”, a unique region in Switzerland for MTB tourism in the heart of the Alps could be created.

The main goal of the BlenioBike website, is to provide the user with detailed information on the MTB tourist offer in the Blenio Valley, by proposing a detailed range of MTB tours with various degrees of difficulty, physical effort, travel time, altitude difference etc., downloadable in various formats for GPS navigation and plotted on printable maps. Photos and videos of the routes will provide visitors with an overview of the region they visit. Short hints on the Blenio Valley, on its landscape, naturalistic and gastronomic peculiarities, on the hotels equipped to accommodate “bikers” and on the other overnight staying possibilities, will help visitors with their choice of destination. BlenioBike, therefore, wants to be a platform to give everyone, from families to extreme “bikers”, the opportunity to discover the Blenio Valley, while having fun on a bicycle.

We invite you to become members  of our association and / or to contribute to the development and ongoing updating of BlenioBike with suggestions, comments, photos, videos, etc.
