“Family” is an ideal route for a family excursion.
The trail starts in Dongio in the church square; continue north, first along Dongio’s peculiar “grottoes”, then pedaling along the “Satro”dirt road, which leads to Acquarossa. Once you have crossed the Lottigna campsite, you continue along the Piano di Castro, you cross the bridge over the Brenno river, and descend south through the towns of Prugiasco and Comprovasco. While still on the comfortable paved secondary roads, you reach the Romanesque church of San Remigio, located in Boscero. Continue along the plain that leads to Motto, and return to the starting point through the village of Marogno. This route does not have any technical difficulties; however, we advise you to watch over the younger bikers as they cross the intersections, and along the short stretch on the cantonal road in Acquarossa.
