Tour description

The Nara region, long known for its winter sports, is successfully launching itself into recreational and sporting activities for the summer. Thanks to its two chairlifts, which are open daily during the summer season, the offer for mountain bikers has been considerably increased. Proof of that is the creation of the only downhill track in the valley, along the stretch of the second chairlift. The circuit starts in Leontica and climbs along a comfortable paved road towards Cancorì, the main center of the Nara tourist resort. You continue on a dirt road towards Piede del Sasso, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains, especially the Adula massif. The descent to Negrentino is very beautiful and of medium difficulty; stretches of dirt road alternate with fun single trails. Once you reach the Romanesque church in Negrentino, you cross the Prugiasco stream on a fantastic walkway (an engineering masterpiece) and you reach the starting point in Leontica.
