Tour description

The route winds through the middle valley of Blenio, with departure and arrival in Acquarossa. A very beautiful circuit because of its features: an easy ascent entirely on a paved mountain road and a descent of medium difficulty to Ponto Valentino, along a wonderful single trail that passes the small church of Fisgiora. You go up along the cantonal road towards Prugiasco, where you take the mountain road which, bend after bend, leads to Misgiödigh. From there, follow the dirt road along the side of the mountain towards the north to Ardéd, at an altitude of 1299 m. Go a few hundred meters downhill on the paved road, then first take the dirt road, then the beautiful single trail that leads to Ponto Valentino. Return to Acquarossa along the secondary road in the “Piano di Castro”. Monuments along the way: the Romanesque church in Negrentino.
